Questions
Do you upload or store my chat?
No. The file is opened and turned into a PDF by code running in your browser. It is never sent to our server. You can switch off your internet after the page has loaded and it still works. The only thing our server handles is the payment, through Stripe.
Can I use the PDF as evidence in court?
Many people use printed chats for disputes, tribunals, HR and insurance claims. Whether a document is accepted is up to the court or the other party, not us, so ask your lawyer what they need. The Records layout is designed to make that easier: messages are numbered, nothing is reworded, every page is referenced, and the cover page holds a SHA-256 fingerprint of your original export so it can be matched to the source file. Keep the original export too.
Does it work with iPhone and Android exports? Other languages?
Yes, both, with any date format (EU, US, ISO, 12h or 24h). Text in Latin, Cyrillic and Greek scripts renders fully, and emoji are shown in black and white. Arabic, Hebrew, Indian and Asian scripts aren’t supported yet. Check the free preview first.
What about photos, videos and voice notes?
If you export with media, photos and stickers are placed in the PDF. Videos, voice notes and documents are listed by file name and type where they were sent.
My chat is huge. Will it work?
Yes. Tens of thousands of messages work fine, it just takes a bit longer. A computer is faster than a phone for very long chats. Use the date filter if you only need part of it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If the PDF isn’t what you needed, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund you.
